Golden Valley House Day Nursery in Knowle (known as Busy Bee Day Nursery) is well established in providing high quality childcare and education. Our aim at the Nursery is to create a relaxed, loving and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can learn and develop to their full potential.

Emma & Andrew McCarthy have been the owners of Golden Valley House Day Nursery since 2016. Emma has 20 years’ experience in primary schools as a teacher, deputy and head teacher.

Andrew has an IT background and retrained in childcare before becoming a nursery owner.

We provide high quality support and care thus developing children’s personal, intellectual and creative talents, giving them a broad understanding across a wide curriculum using a balanced daily routine.

When children leave here they are well-rounded with independent learning and life skills enriched by a variety of experiences in the Nursery.

Our team are friendly, highly qualified and dedicated individuals, who are fun and inspirational!

Children can attend with us on a full or part-time basis. Government funding spaces are also available.
